I am currently using the CDHD servo drive and a motor with an encoder feedback, and I want to use the same motor with a resolver instead. do I need to replace the CDHD drive?

All supported feedback types in the CDHD are available in the same hardware. You don’t need to replace the drive. You do need to replace your feedback cable to a resolver feedback cable. Additionally, under the “feedback” screen in the ServoStudio GUI, configure the drive to work with a resolver type feedback.
